Welcome to the Theta Iota Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Baylor University, my name is Grace Bregard and I am honored and blessed to serve as Chapter President of this sisterhood. The sisterhood of Baylor Alpha Chi Omega has made my life so full of love, support, and growth that have made my college career so fulfilling, as I’m sure it can do for you too! I am humbled to share my organization and sisterhood with you.
Alpha Chi Omega has brought me experiences and relationships that are indispensible to my growth as a student, young woman, and follower of Christ. The young women of Alpha Chi Omega are my favorite part of Baylor because they gave me a home and family away from home while uplifting the values and characteristics my parents instilled in me. All 350 plus women in our undergraduate chapter are strong, joyful, and inspiring to me and to all those they meet. They are what makes Alpha Chi Omega such a fantastic, supportive, and closely knit organization. 2017 has already been so exciting and eventful with much to look forward to in the fall as well. Our All University SING! Act, “The Art of Espionage”, partnered with the men of Pi Kappa Phi, was in the top 8 acts and invited to perform this Homecoming at Pigskin, our third year in a row to be invited. Our success is a testament to the hard work, team mindset, and talent that Alpha Chi Omega embodies.
Healthy Relationships Week, a week that relates to our National Philanthropy of Domestic Violence Awareness in a huge way, was a great success. Spreading awareness on campus, we had a goal of showing what healthy and unhealthy relationships look like. From a day with puppies to a “Donut Let Love Hurt” booth, Healthy Relationships Week was the perfect example of the philanthropic, creative, and educational aspects of Alpha Chi Omega. Besides Healthy Relationships Week, we volunteered at the Waco Family Abuse Center and during Baylor’s Steppin’ Out, something that is central to our mission of promoting and empowering women and our communities.
These achievements are only a small part of the bigger picture that is the sisterhood of Alpha Chi Omega. Getting involved in the traditions of Baylor and the spirit of Waco is something that makes Alpha Chi Omega and Greek Life in general so special and wonderful. Being a Baylor Alpha Chi has brought me such joy and I know it can do the same for you. If you have any questions, inquiries, or would just want to learn more about our organization and membership, my email is always open.

The best idea my friend had was to go to IHOP to study for one of our big tests when they had unlimited pancakes. We stayed there until 4 in the morning and had over 10 pancakes each!
